About Nat

Nat Coombs is a British television presenter, comedian, producer and writer.

With his passion for sports underpinned by his comedic background, Coombs
has become one of the leading faces of personality-driven sports
entertainment in the UK. He currently presents Talk of the Terrace (ESPN), a
weekly live studio show (Mondays, 6.30pm) that takes an irreverent look at
the Premier League and the wider world of football.

As one of the main US Sports broadcasters in the UK he presented NFL Live
(FIVE) for 3 seasons between 2007-2010. In 2010 he also co-presented NFL: UK
(also FIVE) a weekly magazine show, that was shown on Saturday mornings.

He’s one of the anchors for Major League Baseball on BBC Five Live Sports
Xtra, and guest hosts NFL Live on the BBC. He is a regular guest on a range
of TV and radio shows, adding his leftfield insight and unique take on the
world of sports and their pop culture crossover. He contributes regularly to
a range of national newspapers and sites.

Coombs started out as a live stand up, and still writes and produces lots of
comedy. He supports West Ham Utd, Miami Dolphins and the Chicago Cubs. His
heroes are TS Eliot, Jim Henson and John Candy. His softball team, the Chevy
Chasers, lasted one season, but may come out of retirement if the money’s
right.
